The curious industrial area just North of Kings Cross shines bright with colourful inspiration on a sunny Autumn day.
I once spent a fair amount of time knitting petal shaped appliques. It was fun playing around with increasing and then decreasing stitches over and over. Now when I open up a cushion out pop knitted bits crawling over each other trying to escape incarceration.
I missed my Thursday deadline last week (oh my gosh is it Monday already?!), I don’t mind so much because I was enjoying making and designing too much to write about it. So here are some of the ideas I’ve been playing around with.
Wandering the streets of London I pass some amazing buildings painted bright and bold. The Falcon building caught my eye and I used the image to make a colour swatch palette and applied that my girl’s outfit.
